Perfect home for our family on a short visit to Elliot. Steve and Jen were very responsive. Home is tastefully decorated and all useful amenities.

Steve's Kittery home was wonderful. A really gorgeous house in an amazing, walkable location. Additionally, Steve and Jen could not have been nicer and more accommodating. They went out of their way to make my groups lives easier and were very easy to get in touch with. I feel like I found a vacation home that I will visit again and certainly recommend to others.

This Airbnb was perfect for my weekend with friends. The house was very spacious, immaculate and comfortable. It is located close to walking trails and shopping in Portsmouth. The host's were easy to communicate with and quick to respond to any questions. I look forward to booking this again for another fun weekend !!

Beautiful place, in a beautiful setting. Host was very helpful and friendly. We sat outside to eat and it’s a perfect view of the ocean. The beach is very nice and so many other parks and ocean spots. Great commute to Portsmouth. As a disabled person, I was very happy. Wonderful walkways, railings, even pull up bars on the front doorway. My husband and I had a very nice trip.

Great location and beautiful space. Had everything we needed. The chairs behind the house gave us a perfect view of the sea and the beach. We were able to have our coffee there every morning. The chairs and beach towels are a nice touch.
The hosts are nice and respond quickly.
This was our first visit to Rye and definitely not our last!

This place truly feels like home. Well stocked. Cozy and comfortable and the hosts really care about the cottage. Loved the saltwater pool and all amenities. 3 TVs. And very comfortable beds and linens. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay in Kittery. The house is charming, clean and in a great location--easy walking distance to Portsmouth and some of our favorite restaurants on the water + coffee shops and bakeries. The house also had everything we needed! Steve and Jen were very accommodating and friendly to work with. We'd love to stay here again.

We loved staying here! It was an easy 15 minute drive to Kennebunkport. Gloriously peaceful and quiet in an extremely well-maintained complex, while still being convenient to head out to the shore towns. House was recently updated and the beachy furnishings were modern yet cozy - clearly there was care put into the decor. The kitchen was stocked full of more than the normal supplies. Would definitely stay here again!

Our family of 5 (two toddlers and a baby) had a great stay. Steve was easy to communicate with and responsive. Place was as described and we loved the pool! We would definitely stay again!

Steve’s home in Kittery was perfect for our family. The location provided easy access to Maine as well as Portsmouth, NH. The home and yard were both beautiful and we felt right at home. Steve provided great instructions, recommendations, and was very responsive. I would highly recommend this home and we would love to come back!

This home is a wonderful place to stay and we hope to book it again next year! It was clean, nicely updated and had everything you needed. It is just as in the photos, we particularly loved the sitting area outside and off the kitchen. Lots of great sun! Additionally, easy to get in and out, and the hosts were extremely helpful and communicated well. The location is incredible in walking distance to the water, shops restaurants and just over the nice bridge to downtown Portsmouth.

Love the neighborhood. Very cute cottage style area. Quiet and comfortable. Very responsive host. Comfortable beds. You can even day trip to The Flume Gorge in New Hampshire (highly recommend), Boston and Salem Massachusetts, even Providence, Rhode Island. We are on the road to seeing all 50 states and this was a great location to venture in and see some great spots in nearby states as well as enjoy the sites in Maine.

We had a family gathering at this sweet spot in Rye. The house was pristine, well decorated, very well stocked kitchen, and a BOMB master bathroom. We cooked dinners in the gorgeous kitchen and spent our evenings enjoying the space. We were lucky enough to be there during the northern lights and that was a real treat. We would certainly stay at this home again in the future. It’s on a quiet and peaceful street and there was ample parking. Thank you Jen and Steve for providing such a beautiful space.

This was a beautiful home in a beautiful location. We enjoyed walking places and short drives to really neat activities and restaurants. Host were very responsive, helpful and gracious.

The house is immaculate and in a great location. The inside is bigger than the pictures can show with a huge kitchen and great dining area. When you walk up the stairs and go towards the primary suite, the bathtub is framed perfectly like a picture. Steve was very responsive and helpful for any issues we had during our stay. I highly recommend this property and Steve.

what a great stay we had. Steve and Jen were so helpful. the home was just a 20 minute walk to some great pubs in kittery. the pictures do not do this place justice. it was beautiful they had left a light on for us and turned the heat up. the bedrooms were perfect and the beds were very comfortable. the kitchen was perfect for us, the frig was huge for our needs. they had coffee grounds and pods for us. it had snowed a bit overnight and they were there to shovel before we had even gotten up. it was on a very nice quit street but plenty close to walk around. we had such a good time, we hope to go back once it's warmer

Lovely spot in a very cool lil hood of Portsmouth. Walking distance to some good food and bars as well. Easy to get to and great hosts that were very responsive and helpful. Would stay again!

Loved my stay here. It is well laid out, clean, easy to get to the beach. I reached out to the host a couple of times and they were quick to respond. I hope to rent again same time next winter.

What a great holiday our family enjoyed gathered together in Rye! The house was exactly as shown in photos. A great gathering space, well-equipped kitchen for holiday meals, and a fun pool table room for spirited competition provided the ideal place for family and friends to spend quality time together. Steve was an attentive and accommodating host which we sincerely appreciated. We look forward to many more family-fun holidays after such a wonderful experience at Steve’s home in Rye. Great location to enjoy both Kittery and Portsmouth activities. Lovely older home with lots of character but with modern amenities in kitchen and baths. Steve and Jen were great hosts.

We very much enjoyed our Thanksgiving week stay at Steve's house in Kittery. It is a lovely, spacious and comfortable home in a charming neighborhood, just a short walk across the river to Portsmouth. The layout was perfect for our family, including a 2 year old grand-daughter who needed a separate quiet space for naps. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped, which really helped in preparing Thanksgiving dinner. Steve allowed us to check in early, and delivered a requested lobster pot, along with local suggestions of where to find lobster tails for Thanksgiving. We spent much of our days exploring Kittery, Portsmouth, and the sea coast area. If you have young children, two great choices are The Children's Museum of New Hampshire in Dover (reservations recommended during holiday times), and the Seacoast Science Center in Rye. We also suggest Fort Foster Park in the Kittery Point area for easy and scenic hiking along the coast. Wish we had more time to experience the area!

The cottage was clean, comfortable, and well stocked for our family. The host was responsive and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Steve's house was perfect for our group of 5 adults and 3 children. The house is beautifully decorated and very close to beaches, parks, mini golf, and ice cream. Steve is incredibly responsive. We appreciated the fenced in yard, the baby gates, and games for kids. There is an attached unit to the house that is completely separate, we did not see the other renter the entire weekend. We appreciated the large beach umbrella!

We stayed at Steve’s place for a month! It was comfortable and we can’t say enough about the location! Steve was terrific very responsive and friendly always available with any concerns! We will definitely be back!

Had a wonderful one month stay! Steve and Jen were great hosts. The location is really great. Loved how walkable the neighborhood is. Really enjoyed walking across the bridge into downtown Portsmouth. The apartment was as great as advertised. If you're looking to cook, the kitchen was very well equipped with lots of things we normally don't find in Airbnbs -- things like spices, food processor, measuring spoons. I'd recommend it!

Wonderful small house perfect for our family of three. Very close to the beach which is what we were there for. Beautiful lawn was very well maintained - we were running around barefoot! Also loved the option of extra beach toys and accessories. Thank you Steve and Jen!

This was the second time we stayed at Cape Arundel Cottages and Steve's place did not disappoint. Absolutely perfect place for families - close to Biddeford, Kennebunkport, Portland, Ogunquit, as long as you have a car. Also, the community pool is relaxing and pristine. Great option if you want something to do for the day but don't have a lot of time or energy (especially great if you have babies who adhere to a nap schedule). We had a wonderful vacation and would definitely come back again.

This Location was exactly what we were looking for, (walking distance to the beach). We were able to walk home for lunch. The Kitchen is well equipped and has all necessary supplies for doing dishes. There is a Walmart 10 minutes away for grocery shopping. The hosts were excellent communicators from the initial booking to check out day. We look forward to returning to the Rye Beach House next summer.

The house is even more beautiful in person. It was perfect for our family. The home is set up perfectly to provide calm, comfortable spaces for both adults and toddlers; and to somehow do so simultaneously. We're so grateful to the wonderful hosts!
